porting lenovo smart tab m10 plus x606

I was told that you can try pressing volume up when plugging the device to your PC or volume down.
-
@kugiigi
Yep ... I've tried to torture the buttons in many different ways. -

Do you both have the same issue? Just blank screen, not even the Lenovo boot up screen?
Yes
-
@marek_python so perhaps plug it in and let it alone for some hours, to let it charge a bit....
-
@luksus i will try that.....nothing has managed the Problem.......
Thanks -
@luksus
Yeah I'll leave it charging for few hours. Though when I started messing with it the battery was well over 50%. No harm in leaving it on a charger. -

Over night nothing happened.....I have no idea anymore
-
I just can't believe, that there is no way ... -
I noticed the dead tablet is still sort of detected by Windows
but the tablet isn't listed in either
fastboot devices
nor inadb devices

I really think the rescue tool will help you recover your tablets. Try read the steps on how to use it again and again. Maybe you missed something.

I hate to say this but quite a few people fixed their non-responsive tablets by opening it up, disconnecting the battery for few seconds, connecting it back and then try to power it on.I don't like the idea of butchering a new tablet but if we don't do anything we got ourselves a pretty expensive paper weight.

I just flashed the TB-X606F_S100015_191127_BMP Images with the SPFlashTool on my X606XA Tablet.- tablet was turned off
- no cable connected
- download started in flashtool
- connected usb cable without pressing any button
- flashing started
- "Downlod Ok"
- red light is on
- I disconnected the cable and hit the power button.
It boots... but with some errors. Could be caused by not matching tablet version. Anyway.
Now I wanted to flash TB-X606F_USR_S100168_200828_BMP:
- tablet was turned off (I turned it off by long power button press until the display turns off, if it not vibrates again, I can be sure that it is really turned off)
- no cable connected
- download started in flashtool
- connected usb cable without pressing any button -> red light on but else nothing happened
- unplugged cable
- connected usb cable with pressing volume down button -> red light on but else nothing happened
- unplugged cable
- connected usb cable without pressing any button -> red light on
- a short press on the power button
- after ~2 seconds flash-tool did start to download images
- "Downlod Ok"
- red light is on
- I disconnected the cable and hit the power button
Device boots this time without errors...
No Idea, if this is helpful.

@FP2andFP3-User has this ^ worked for you ? It hasn't for me.
The flash tool doesn't react when tablet is connected at all on my end. -
@marek_python i can do it in 2-3 hours. Sorry
-
When did you buy the tablet? Maybe they changed things by the newer one?
-
@fp2andfp3-user
Date of manufacture of my tablet is stated as 16/04/2021 -
@fp2andfp3-user
Well it may not work on my tablet because my tablet isn't just turned off like @Luksus but it has ROM that won't boot and that's why it's turned off. @Luksus just turned it off while his tablet is in working condition.
That's just an opinion.If his way of doing it works for you there's a good chance that I'm doing something wrong.
-
@marek_python i don't think, that you will do something wrong.....I think, that lenovo has changed something this year....mine is also New and delivered With Android 10.
@Luksus you bought it With starting system Android 9?
-
@fp2andfp3-user
I've reached out to people who maintain the downloads and recommended them to add a warning to that particular ROM for others to avoid it. That way more people won't end up with dead tablets. -
