Meizu pro 5 without any os.

I made it, but when looking with the file manager i see no TWRP folder (on the phone).
And no more when looking with adb (with the pc).
I have a twres folder but it didn't contain any backups. -
@bontemps make another backup and there is an option to select the location of Backup, internal or external SD, choose internal
-
@bontemps after that, click on Advanced, there is FILE MANAGER and try with that. But the InternalSD needs to by mounted by recovery
-
it say that there is 0 MB on the internal storage.
it is maybe that. -
-
No, its fine, i put an sd card and made the backup on it, i have the Backup and so.
I go further in the steps. -
@bontemps ok ,that's the option as well.
-
So, i unzip the archive and i put it on the phone to be restored, is it?
-
@bontemps yes
-
@bontemps I have to go to bed now as I wake up at 02:15 am tomorrow.
If there is a problem, download the Flyme unlocked bootloader zip file I sent you the link, flash it with TWRP, then reboot to recovery, wipe it there all clean, and go again to Restore and restore the backup you downloaded previously. Then reboot to bootloader and flash Ubuntu recovery, reboot and it should be all ok. -
OK, thank you very much.
-
@bontemps Have you succeeded? Let me know, please.
-
Actually, i have another problem, i can't mount the data partition and the internal storage has a 0 mb value.
So, duckduckgoing i see that it may be a corrupted /data partition.
And some people have fixed it with fastboot format userdata. I tried, it didn't work.
the error was: Formatting is not supported for file system with type ''.
When looking man fastboot i see this: fastboot format[:[fs type][:[size]] partition.
So, fs type, maybe ext4 but the size? -
@bontemps Just try to flash the Unlocked Bootloader zip file that I send you the link. It should work.
-
I am relay not used to the smartphone world.
So, for me it is more magic than anithing, because i don't understand in depth what i'm doing.
So, when you say to flash the Unlocked Bootloader,
Does it mean: fastboot flash bootloader Unlocked_bootloader_pro5_update.zip -
@bontemps No, just flash the zip file. Do not extract it, just put it to your externalSD and click INSTALL
Do it from within TWRP recovery. No fastboot this time.
The Unlocked_bootloader_pro5_update.zip is a flashable zip file, it means can be flashed with TWRP recovery. It's whole Flyme Android firmware. -
@bontemps If you manage to flash it, reboot it and let it run, it takes up to 5 min to start FLYME, then go to Developer options, enable Usb debugging.
Reboot to recovery wipe it in TWRP recovery (don't worry, it's safe), reboot to bootloader, flash Ubuntu recovery, reboot to recovery and try Ubuntu-device-flash -
So, it is flashed, it boot in fastboot and TWRP.
But the problem is that i always can't mount the /data partition.
So, i think i can't restore the backup(same situation). -
I tried to reboot it and it went wrong, it restart in cycle, enter TWRP, in TWRP they are some process runing on a window and it restart the same.
-
@bontemps Wipe it inTWRP again, and flash it again.
