The camera is not working correctly .
-
@lev Which device are you using?
-
@moem redmi 7a
-
@lev I don't see that on the devices list so, to be honest, I'm surprised that it works at all. But maybe someone here knows a trick. Best of luck!

Maybe the GSI port?
https://www.qwant.com/?q=ubuntu touch gsi&t=web&client=qwant-firefoxNow maybe a GSI devices specific subforum should be created?
-
@keneda yes
-
@lev
GSI ports are not maintained by ubports devs, and XDA devs that make thoses ports don't even come here... (first of all : https://forums.ubports.com/user/erfanoabdi | https://forum.xda-developers.com/m/erfanoabdi.6298645/ )
We only can give you generic help with those.Maybe you should try to find the porter on XDA to get help (and encourage him to come here at the same time ^^ ).
-
@keneda I installed an old version of the camera. everything works . So it's about the app itself
-
@lev
It's about the camera app surelly, but the issue is not for all devices, so it may be specific with device drivers.You should open issue on camera app git : https://gitlab.com/ubports/apps/camera-app/-/issues
By the way, wich version of uTouch is running on your 7a?
-
@keneda helium 9
-
@lev
Halium 9 is not a uTouch version, it's a unified way to adapt GNU/L to androΓ―d 8+ devices.
See : https://docs.halium.org/en/latest/Open settings app > about > operating system :
-
@keneda I don't have that
-
@lev
What you don't have?You don't have setting app?!?
In setting app you don't have "about"?
In about you don't have "operating system"?
-
@keneda operating system
-
@lev
You don't have that?!? That's weird...
-
@keneda yes
-
@lev
Problem is we can't say if this issue is from app or OS since apps are updated for latest ubports releases. -
If someone can tell @lev if there is an other way to see OS version for his device, feel free
