nextcloud

Hi all,
I can't connect to a nextcloud instance.
Ubuntu touch is freshly installed on a Pinephone.
I installed GhostCloud which tells me, that no account is setup yet. By selecting
Add account
I am re-directed to the system settings 'Accounts'. There is an entry 'Nextcloud' but when I select that, I see the circulating wheel for ~2 seconds, but nothing more happens. Is that supposed to work? And if so, what am I missing? Thanks in advance!

@ringprince I would say (I do not remember it very well) that the nextcloud account established in the system settings has nothing to do with the one you establish for GhostCloud.
The former is used for instance by calendar app. I do not know which is the issue with this one.
The latter is only used within GhostCloud app. I remember it being quite tricky with the slashes (/). I will give it a try. -
Well, I was completely wrong.
Since the last time I used GhostCloud, it has evidently evolved and uses the account established in the general system settings of the phone as you correctly said.
I have installed the app, set the account and accessed the files without any issue.
When selecting Nextcloud a new window opens where I set the URL the username and the password and once it is accepted I select which apps have access to the account. -
@aimar Thanks for trying this and confirming the expected behaviour. I also do not get any reaction (besides the 2 seconds spinning wheel) for any of the other account options (Google, ownCloud, Generic CalDAV)

@aimar Are you also trying this on a PinePhone? If I recall correctly there were issues with the Accounts settings on the PinePhone originally, and I don't remember if they were ever resolved.

@ringprince Are you on xenial or focal?

In case it helps for narrowing down the issue, it works for me on 16.04/xenial on a BQ E4.5.
