RE: I am not able to certify my waydroid, installed it on fedora 40. can anybody help me, please ?
Sorry, but this is not a general Waydroid forum, it's just one for Waydroid on Ubuntu Touch. We do not support Waydroid on Fedora.

RE: Anyone tried installing another OS on a Ubuntu Touch X23
Hi @treebeard
It should be about the same to flash Ubuntu Touch on a Volla phone with VollaOS than flashing VollaOS with the phone running Ubuntu Touch.
I don't own a Volla device, but IIRC the UBports installer can install several other OSes if available for your device.
And if we can trust my memory, I saw it for a Volla phone. -
RE: information ask waydroid
Hi @linuxfanche
From what I understand from this video, they are using the DisplayLink technology via an app from the Google Store.
I doubt there is something cooked in Ubuntu Touch to take advantage of DisplayLink. But when it comes to possibilities, this give me hope that with enough work it can be achieved: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DisplayLink#Linux
As for the waydroid part of your question, I also doubt the necessary connection are available for the DisplayLink app to work as intended.
Best try it out to be sureMy best

RE: UBports Shop - PayPal not working
Thanks for the details.
The people having access to this kind of information will have a look.

RE: UBports Shop - PayPal not working
Hi @CatWithUT
I'm sure people in charge of the store will be informed of your issue.
Can you provide more context regarding this problem:- Have you tried again and if so how long did you wait between trials?
- What browser have you used?
It was probably a temporary issue, but people in charge will have a look.
Please be patient as people from the community do this on their own time so it can take some time until you get an answer. -
RE: Can't connect to PC
Hi @naizena
That's good news.
It's probably a combination of USB port, USB cable and maybe software.Try to keep track of those to better understand what the problem was.

RE: Q&A 139 Blog and Audio available now.
@jezek Not 100% on this but I would think like other devices, it should when available be in the installer and through the normal Updates from system settings.
I have found it best when making the change to not keep moving between 16.04 and 20.04, but to move once and stay on 20.04 which is working very well now.
