So reading that I feel even more clumsy, because it seems like it's a piece of cake (I wish it were so). I have a Volla X and, as far as I know, is not easy for someone with knowledge at the user level to connect that device to a TV (https://github.com/HelloVolla/ubuntu-touch-beta-tests/issues/107) and work like on a PC.

I wonder if it's honest to make a statement like this...

Still, I'm very grateful to all of you who make this project possible.

I managed to update to 20.04 but I reinstalled the stable version because most application launchers got duplicated and Teleports didn't work.

How can I know the Halium version I am using?

@domubpkm Yes, it works for me if I'm conected to wifi.
It doesn't work on data connection (It looks like it's connected because the connection indicator turns green and you don't get an error message, but it doesn't connect to the internet...)
But no problem on wifi connection.
Volla X. Focal 20.04 OTA-4. Protonvpn.

I've been able to config proton vpn conexion on my Volla X with a fresh 20.04 focal.
I did the same as with 16.04, but without the vpn app and it works.
I can choose sha-512, but it works too choosing "by default"

it works again after last Waydroid Helper 2.0.5 version.

@libremax Maybe I just wanted to express my frustration at not being able to use Ubuntu Touch as a PC. I've been using Ubuntu Touch for a long time (aquaris 4.5 2015) and I was excited about the idea of convergence on a linux, and I thought that one day I would have a simple PC on my mobile. @musicologist I have a volla X and I had the same problem (applications that open by themselves, keyboard that has a life of its own...) a long time ago. One day it stopped happening. Just like that. I've been without problems for a couple of years. I don't contribute anything, but I don't know why it happened or why it didn't happen.

Volla X with Focal 20.04 OTA-5

@Ian On my Vollaphone X the first tap on the fingerprint reader unlocks the phone. No need no tap twice.

Show/Hide apps doesn't work since OTA-5. The removed icons still appear after rebooting the phone. I use a Volla X. Is there any way to reinstall not waydroid but Waydroid Helper to try if it works?
Any suggestion? Thanks in advance.
