Question about QA, I really want to help you building an awesome OS. Do you provide a way to automatically send you a report when the phone crashes, or things like that? I usually come to github, but I guess to provide an automatic way would be easier, more people would do it (this could even be opt-out on
devel, I mean it should not be a privacy issue, people running that code know they are doing it to help), and that would give a better way to estimate if bugs / regressions impact a lot of people / phone configurations... -
Is there any progress with sensorfw, and if not are there any plans to implement sensors that dont use the sensors.qcom but something else, like for example sensorhub?

There seem to be a lot more account providers (Nextcloud etc.) and services (Twitter, Facebook etc.) options in the source repo: https://github.com/ubports/account-plugins/
But they seem inaccessible though the accounts GUI right now. Is this a depreciated feature, or something that will be re-enabled in the future? How would one go about adding additional providers? -
Less a question for our too busy main developers (who have been very supportive) than for the wider community. The work on the Pinephone and the ports to arm64 phones has helped get us an image that launches on the Raspberry Pi and software to use on it. However we still need help to get it more useable, particularly on the Pi 4 where the extra RAM should make it a great little development platform for Ubuntu Touch (OS and Apps).
Does any one out there have the time and the skills to help take this forward? There seems to be a good few Linux users with some skills, a Raspberry Pi and a commitment to UT but whose developer skills are not up to finding if a problem is, say, related to the Wayland compositor then working out how we fix that. Whilst this isn't (and shouldn't be) a main focus for the UBports community I believe getting this working well will boost the other arm64 work, help show we are not restricted to a handful of old phones and get us some good publicity.
Even on the Pi 3 Ubuntu Touch is a joy to use, particularly on the 7" touchscreen. I'd happily watch today's Q&A on it if I'd got the skills to get sound playing from the Morph browser in time .

As an end user, how i could sponsor a feature that i'd like to have ? To be concrete and to increase privacy by an anonymizing network, i give you one hundred euro if you had a button to use the tor network, not Tor Browser, just tor network in OTA13 (or next, doesn't matter). I'm serious. Why ? Because, mass surveillance is a reality. Thanks to ubports for your great job. (i know that 100 Euro is not enough, but i think that i'm not alone).

Another question:
According to the Halium page for the Nexus5 ( http://docs.halium.org/en/latest/supplementary/devices/hammerhead.html ), there is some sort of mainline Linux Kernel support for it.
Does that mean it could work with a similar non-Android stack as the PinePhone etc.?

@poVoq Thank you for the answer. But, why added an extra layer? Tor does not need vpn to work and it already runs on ubuntu or debian (apt://tor or https://tails.boum.org/). In communication, the more simple it is and the less there is risk of security. Suppose I go through a vpn (TorVpn if you want), how can you make sure I have not introduced a new security hole ? Please, tell me. Moreover, the same question arises for Tor, but it is the price to pay for a network that does not reveal your identity.

@gibi92 if you want to channel your entire network traffic through ToR you are going to need something similar to a VPN anyways and without the ToR browser this is also quite risky as ToR by itself for example doesn't prevent finger-printing of a browser AFAIK... especially if you use a device with a rare OS like UT.
But I was mainly commenting on what you can do right now to get more or less the functionality you want, because it is relatively unlikely that such a niche need will find sufficient supporters to pay a developer. OpenVPN is also a widely used standard so the risk of additional security holes is quite low.
That said using UT for "security" reasons right now is a bit of a gamble in my opinion. Yes it is relatively obscure and many tracking systems will be confused by it, but on the other hand it is using an relatively old Linux/Ubuntu version (albeit with security patches) and is developed by a very limited number of volunteers... so security issues are likely to go unnoticed.
