        Hi,

I have seen many request to have CalDav/Carddav, is this already working in the OTA-1?

        thanks very much

No, sadly not. See here for the complete change-log for OTA-1. The Calendar app does not have a maintainer yet, but having CalDav support is definitely on the wish-list. If this is feasible before 16.04 remains to be seen.

Can you tell me, what seems to be not working?

Caldav is working fine for me on BQ 4.5 after migrating from Ubuntu Touch to UBPorts OTA-1.
Maybe, it helps, I had setup Caldav already on Ubuntu Touch and after the migration to UBPorts just copied back my old config folders.

@marcokarlo How did you setup caldav/carddav? Are you using a script for this?

                There's a script available here: https://gist.github.com/tcarrondo/c932750928c83310fd84f8376ee17f30

It's a little fiddly since the script must be moved to the device and run from the Terminal app, but it works.

@cherrie Originally, I setup up the caldav and carddav sync using the following recipe:
                  https://askubuntu.com/questions/591866/how-can-contacts-and-calendars-be-synchronised/600629#600629

But I believe that later on I just used the Caldav plugin which is available under System Settings-> Accounts.
                  Hopefully, this helps.

@marcokarlo I don't see any caldav option there, just ubuntuone, evernote and google

@polylux I believe you have to install the calendar application first, before the option becomes available. Afterwards I could set it up via the owncloud account option.

@marcokarlo The one from the OpenStore is installed. Reinstalling didn't bring up a new cal option. Are you talking about the version from the ubuntu store perhaps?
