        Hello!
        I'm currently trying to install Volla OS on my Volla Phone which is currently running UT. I followed the instructions in the UBports software. (switching phone to developer mode). It recognizes my phone, it can download the VollaOS packages. It then tries to restart the phone (to bring it into fastboot mode). This operation just switches off the phone. If I switch it back on (by hand) Ubuntu just boots normally (while the software switches to the next step, "Flashing firmware", which it obviously doesn't do...).

        Any ideas?

        Best,

        Pascal

          @pascal Hey Pascal.

          I recommend you to open the bootloader manually. Works best on a Linux system. If you opened the bootloader, the installation of UT with the UT Installer should work.

          fastboot flashing unlock

          is the command you should use. Keep in mind that the phone must be set into the fastboot mode to execute this. If the VollaOS is installed you have to close the bootloader with

          fastboot flashing lock

          This had helped me to switch from UT to VollaOS
