Turn screen off = Comatose phone
-
I've been trying several Pinephone distros, hoping to settle on one as my primary. Ubuntu Touch has a great layout and gestures, and I'd love to stick with it.
However, I'm having a major problem:
If I turn the screen off, it never comes back on again (it flickers briefly, and then goes permanently black). I have to hold the power-button to force the phone to power down and then turn it back on. The same thing occurs if it auto-locks (I set it to never lock to help avoid this, but of course it'll drain its battery if it just keeps the screen on all the time).
This occurred with the latest, stable version downloaded here https://ci.ubports.com/job/rootfs/job/rootfs-pinephone-systemimage/
Is this a known problem? Is there a workaround?
Thanks!
