Screen wake issues

Does anyone else have issues with this device and the screen randomly coming on when it should be in standby? Ota 18/19 both do this on my wifi model

If I leave the WiFi enabled on my Google Nexux 7 WiFi (flo) the screen will wake up after about 2 minutes and then go back to blank. The cycle repeats until the battery is dead - usually within 1 day). I just shut the WiFi off when I'm done using it, and I get more than 3 days use between charges.
