I have a 2013 Nexus 7 WiFi that I would like to try to install UTouch on. It currently has a version of ParanoidAndroid running on it. How do I install? The installer instructions say 'Install the required Android/stock rom version'. Not sure how to do that before I proceed.

        Can someone clarify?

        Thanks

@kellyvotrenom Yes go here and download the last ROM. Do not unzip it and save it somewhere easy to find.

Download Wugfresh and use the tutorial.

This is assuming you are using windows. It works on windows 10 and 11 and makes installing stock ROMs on Nexus devices so simple.

            @mrt10001

I do not use Windows - there are instructions on the download page to use the Android Flash Tool. Can I just follow those instructions to re-flash the stock ROM?

I have never had to reflash a stock ROM before so if my question seems naive it's just erring on the side of not bricking the device.

            Thanks

@kellyvotrenom If you don't use windows the Android flash tool will work. The other method is to unzip the ROM and flash each part in fastboot manually.

You can also install TWRP and flash the ROM through that.

There are plenty of tutorials on line. Here is one example.

@mrt10001 Thank you - any of those options will work for me. I will investigate the TWRP option since I am familiar with it and like working with it but ADB/Flashboot is also good.

Thanks for the links, hopefully have the Nexus up and running soon

Hi - just getting back to this. I have not had any luck reflashing the stock rom. You mentioned I could do this via TWRP, which is installed on the device. Which zipped folder would I use? The downloaded file - razor-ota-mob30x-54635e45.zip - or the image folder inside of this file - image-razor-mob30x.zip?

                  Thanks

PS. I have tried running the flash-all.sh command but got all this back:

                    Hi

Never mind, I just realized I have a 2012 Nexus 7, so not supported. Even the factory ROM is not available, as far as I can tell, so I couldn't get back to stock even if I wanted to

@kellyvotrenom For some reason this thread has necro'd itself onto my unread posts. Install LineageOS to your 2022 Nexus ,7.
