Generic CalDav working?

Is CalDav working on the Pixel 3a? I have all required data and filled the forms the same way I did it on my other device. But when I press the synchronize -circle in the calendar I sometimes see a blue circle on the screen for half a second and then nothing is happening... But maybe its an issue with my provider, this is why I'm asking... ?

Getting fed up of having to scroll through the same posts each visit?
