Bluetooth improvements?

Hello,

Is there any information what is being changed in dev channel builds? Like a log we can check somewhwre? Most of my bluetooth devices dont work with FP3 and I would like to know when some bluetooth related stuff is happening...

@homer the kernel/bootimage of the FP3 got updated already some weeks ago with some bluetooth improvements. Maybe try to install the latest bootimage using the ubports installer and the bootstrap option (without wipe of course!).

Then there is effort put into updating the bluetooth software part in UT.
You may get something out of this, what is planned for OTA-24:

But my own experience is, that bluetooth still needs improvements...

@luksus hi, I now face the issue that the UI of ubuntu touch crashes when it connects to my device.
Can you tell me how to debug this? Are there any log files to check?

@homer what do you mean by "now"?

Now after you updated the bootimage, Or now after you did an OTA-Update?
If you are not already there, try the RC or devel update channels.

For me, bluetooth is not crashing the UI.
Maybe you could check the archived unity8.log.*.gz files in /home/phablet/.cache/upstart.
