OP6 doesn't shutdown or reboot
-
I found that when I choose "Reboot" or "Power off", the screen just goes black but the phone neither reboots or goes down: it is just "freezed" and still draining battery.
To really power it down, I have to long press the power button while the screen is black (and press power again to restart it).

@reynald
I figured out the same issue.
opening the terminal and:sudo poweroff
seems also only to black the screen.
We will be able to do further testing as soon as the boot splash hanging is in RC so its easier to do reboot/shutdown testing... but I have the slight feeling its a kernel issue... -
I am still experiencing the same issue. Selecting "power off" from the UI does not really power off. It only switches the screen to black, but continues to drain battery as if it were turned on.
Right now when I want to be sure that the phone is off, I am booting into fastboot and choosing "power off" there.
Does anyone know about possible progress on this issue?
I am using:
Oneplus 6 (A6003)
UBports 16.04 RC 2022-W30/2 -

I have the same issue on my OP6 with Focul...reboot does not work. I had the battery drain problem with the previous version...butt that seems to be be fixed with Focul.

@Dunbrokin it's a known issue. To completely power off the device hold the power button and volume down button until it boots to the bootloader and select power off from there.
