Does Android inside Waydroid have access to the GPS sensor even when the location detection in UT is set to 'off'?
I noticed Google Maps was able to get a fix, even when I turned off location detection. It was at a highway outside of town, therefore I don't think the fix was a result of Google Location services

@WillemHexspoor Was the fix accurate? If not, then it was probably a cached location or some such.

@arubislander The fix is accurate. Google maps navigation is providing correct location, when driving on the freeway with no nearby wifi networks.

@WillemHexspoor Then I don't know the answer to your question, as I don't use waydroid.
