Pixel 3a randomly restarts....
-
@mrt10001 I'm running version 448. P3a. I haven't had a shutdown all day.
-
@mrt10001 I have seen this behaviour since a long time. Seems to happen more often when flight mode is on.
-
Can confirm that this is happening with my Pixel 3a as well. I dont use this as a daily driver and usually just have it on with WIFI enabled and location off. I have seen it reboot as well by itself. Biggest indicator of the reboot is that all apps are closed / location re-enabled.
Focal 20.04 - fresh install

I can confirm this issue. Not in flight mode. Clean install of 20.04 RC.
-
Same with pixel3axl dev r569...
-
Happens to me sometimes when I'm opening Waydroid apps
-
I got the same issue. I turned on the hotspot for the first time today and the device has randomly rebooted twice. OTA2 stable
-
Issue still present, up to three times a day, my "marker" is the double tap gesture going lost by rebooting - luckily didn't happen during a phone call so far...
pixel3a, focal dev channel -
I don't think it is really useful to keep filling this thread with posts that the issue still persists, without adding any observations that help to track down the cause. There have been no claims that it has been fixed, so the assumption should be that the issue is still present, until it is announced otherwise.

@arubislander Please lock the thread and point out where I can post any log files (if I manage to recover any). I see it has been a topic on the Telegram channel.
My last point would be it is happening on Focal development, Release and Stable channels.
This is raised on the GitLab rep, but no signs of action yet.

As suggested by @MrT10001 this thread is being locked.
The porter has mentioned coming into some time wherein he has the intention of tracking down this reboot bug.
The discussion can be followed on Telegram. But just like here, please don't just add that you are affected by this bug, we know it affects all Pixel 3A 's on Focal on all channels.
If anyone owning a Pixel 3A XL is also affected, please mention it there too, unless someone else already has.
