Camera Issue

My camera works a few times, then it only shows a black surface. You have to restart the device to use the app again a few times.

Where can I find the logs? Is this a known issue? Device is Oneplus 5, Focal Fossa RC on it.

@messayisto is it possible to switch to the devel channel for your device and see if the issue is still present there first?

In general, when encountering an issue, it is always best to check if the issue exists in the latest version before investigating further.

@arubislander Thanks for your advice. I switched to devel. The issue doesnt seem to appear... I`ll wait another day and watch.
generally I do not like the idea of testing every issue in devel, because its my daily driver - and my question is, too: will the fix for example for this issue land in OTA 3 then?

That is understandable. However you can generally go back to stable without too much trouble.

Yes. The current devel will be promoted to RC withing days, and you could then check if the issue still does not occur on the then new RC. Then after some more testing the RC will become OTA-3.

@arubislander I updated to latest RC, which is planned to become OTA3.
Camera issue still remains.
The system in general is slower than before. For example, notification tones are sometimes delayed/ disturbed.
