Waydroid update hangs on completion of download

I have a Volla 22 and have always been good with waydroid but have this problem with the latest update.
Also, since updating to march 24 my rotate no longer works . . . Any iðeas

I keep my Vollaphones on the stable channel ... -
@sven thanks Sven, so how do I get back to the earlier 2023 version?

@Ken1971 If you change the channel (under Update | Settings) to Stable, you should see OTA-4 again. If you see it, can you select it?

@sven hi sven, sorry for delay in responding. My status says stable. Version 16 is on but 20 is on the menu.

@Ken1971 This confuses me. Which version of Ubuntu Touch are you running (16.04 or 20.04). Which channel? And where do you want to go?

@sven im running 16.04. But its my waydroid update thats the problem. Rotate doesnt work in PDF reader or movie players or internet. Ubunu is fine.
