Version 17 doesn't install

(Cross-posted from OTA-6 because this issue may be specific to OP6T (?))
I have Focal 20.04 OTA-6 installed on a OnePlus 6T a few weeks ago. Now in the Updates list there is a notification that Ubuntu touch Version 17 is downloaded and ready to install.
But the Install button is not working, because the Restart & Install process (specifically, the software restart) does not generally work on OP 6T.
Anyone know a workaround? Will OTA-7 fix this bug?

@ancientsounds Install using the UT installer ensuring the Wipe Data button is unticked. OTA's roll out slowly due to server bandwidth.
