Ubuntu Touch IVPN
-
in the network settings ( wifi ) there is a VPN setting ... can't you use that ?
easier than installing external
otherwise add-ons here : https://open-store.io -
Thank you for your reply.
VPN in Network Settings would not give me access to multiple multi-hop server changes on demand, which limits IVPN functionality.
There is no "ivpn" in OpenStore.

I guess it depends what server you want to connect to
for anonymity it would be
https://open-store.io/app/hideme.eventure
add custom installation from linux then
in settings via Libertine and in the created container then try to add linux program ( personally I have no need so experience ) -
But that does not in any way install "IVPN". I am looking to install IVPN, not a VPN.

@UserID0987654321 Does single hop work though? They offer a service to customize the configuration (e.g.) single hop. Multi hop is only needed when you don't trust the nodes, like in tor.

@ikoz please can I check that what you’re trying to say is that there is no way to install the IVPN UI?
-
@UserID0987654321 If by UI you mean a dedicated Linux app, then yes, there isn't a trivial way to install it on Ubuntu Touch. You should still be able to connect to your VPN via the OpenVPN menu in the system settings app though.

@ikoz thank you for getting back to me. It’s a shame. I guess the choice is GrapheneOS (or similar), or just stick with iOS if I want full app compatibility.

@OtaDr Thank you for sharing the link, however, I do not watch youtube.
I appreciate your effort in trying to help me. It simply looks like UT is not an OS designed for my needs.
