Hello everyone,
I'm new to Linux, but I want to repurpose my Asus T100TAS (and also mod my Wii mini since apparentely it can be done only on Linux). So I decided to install Lubuntu (following this guide: https://github.com/5bentz/linux-asus-t100/blob/master/T100TA_guide.md), and everything went smoothly (even without running "ubiquity -b" and installing grub-efi-ia32). After trying Lubuntu for a while, I decided to switch to Ubuntu Lomiri for its native tablet mode and auto-rotation feature. I followed every step again, like I did for Lubuntu, but the installation crashed when it tried to install the bootloader. So I tried to install grub-efi-ia32 manually after the installation crashed, but it didn't work. Could anyone help me? I can give more details if needed.
Thanks a lot

A arubislander moved this topic from Lomiri (was Unity8)

@Pierlink_Cloud This forum is for discussions and help on Ubuntu Touch proper, so your post is bordering on being off topic. I have moved it to the off-topic category for now. Let's see if anyone can help you transition from LXDE (or is it LXQt now) to Lomiri on what was originally a Lubuntu installation to your laptop.
I will say though, that the recommended way of installing Lomiri on Ubuntu is to start out with Ubuntu Server 24.04 and install Lomiri from the PPA.
