        Hello everyone!

I am experiencing two separate issues that appeared around version 513 while using the development version on my 5T. The first issue is that I can no longer update the software without a PC. When I use my phone and go to settings, select update, it downloads the update, then the phone reboots into recovery mode and that's all. I can reboot or view the update log (5 lines saying error and not much else), but that's pretty much it. I have updated the phone several times using a PC, but this does not resolve the issue.

The second issue is with Waydroid; it loads and remains in the background and no way of accessing it. The only way to bring it to the foreground is by opening another Waydroid app. If the whole thing does not crash, I might then be able to switch to the original app. Updating the phone has not resolved this issue either 😞

        TIA

          Hello,
I had the same problem as @armchairFF for dev channel updates. OPT5 wouldn't restart normally and stayed on Recovery boot, so I did the update on the stable release channel with Ubports installer, and I left my phone on the stable channel for now while waiting for the next ota-5.
But I think the problem had been mentioned somewhere 3 weeks ago ... ?

            Thank you for your reply!

I'll probably do the same then. Did you wipe user data? Or is it safe to keep it?
