What means *Surya*? for Xiaomi X3 NFC
-
Hello, i am a Newbie interested in UT. Today i have ordered a Xiaomi X3 NFC but i am not sure what is meant about the Surname 'Surya' as it's described in the ubports installer. Are there different kinds of X3 NFC? And if there are others, isn't it then possible to flash them? Thank you for your answers and especially for the your encouraged work to enable this fabulous OS.

It is more than recommended to downgrade to the needed V12.0.9.0.QJGMIXM Android 10 version.

@Eric-H ok
Thank you, i think i understand, but one last question please: is it recommended not to upgrade and leave the phone in Android 10 or otherwise is it possible to downgrade to the needed V12.0.9.0.QJGMIXM Adroid 10-Version? -

@Aldroid You need to use the stipulated ROM, as this is what the porter used to create the port for the correct vendor BLOBs, partition size and kernel. If you use a different Android ROM, things won't work such as WIFI.
The names you see are the codenames for the device, such as Surya, jasmine _sprout and the like. -
@Eric-H thanks, my questions now are being solved at first - do i have to flag this thread as 'solved'?
