halium-boot.img from precompiled kernel
-
Hello,
Could I use mkbootimg with externally compiled kernel (with the kernel config changes needed by halium) to create halium-boot.img?
The kernel requires some specific tooling. That's why I'm not following the official standalone kernel guide.
If it's possible, I need a way to create boot initramfs. -
I've got this build log snippet as a ramdisk location clue:
Downloading dynparts ramdisk for devices with dynamic partitions ++ RAMDISK_URL=https://github.com/halium/initramfs-tools-halium/releases/download/dynparts/initrd.img-touch-arm64

@faveoled If you need custom tooling use this configuration option as shown in the sample deviceinfo file.
