      Hi everybody 🙂

Noob here, i need some advice about screencasting. I have an old tv with hdmi port, i'm thinking about buying a cheap dongle.

Could you point me to some product with no issues of compatibility?

      Thx a lot 🙂

Wired monitor is not supported on this device as per device page:

Screen cast may be different as there has been testing, however only the expensive Microsoft dongle worked on some devices.

I was thinking about a wireless dongle (Miracast HDMI)

          Something like this

@Abba Actually Miracast works quite well on the Pixel 3a now. But it is hit or miss if it will work with any particular Smart TV or dongle. If you are looking to buy a dongle, then as mentioned before the Microsoft one is the best bet.

Otherwise Sony and Samsung smart TV's also seem to consistently work.
