Virtualisation?
-
i have been looking for a way to try out ubuntu touch or at least lomiri
the problem is that i don't have the resources to get a compatible device
i have tried to find options but the options that i found were not the best
i have tried:-
an emulator that dident work
-
tutorial from the canonical days
-
and the official??? ubuntu lomiri build from a unity revival page
that failed to install any click packages and the openstore
any advice on how i can virtualize this for real?

@asiasiasi The UBports PDK is what you are looking for, presumably the "emulator that didn't work". There was a recent post where someone needed to make chages for it to start. It is essentially a QEMU VM with adaptations for graphics but not used often so it can break.
As you already found out, Lomiri can be ran on normal Ubuntu as well in case you want to familiarize with the environment.
Individual apps can be ran (and built) using
clickable desktopto test if it what you want, since apps are a big part of the ecosystem. -
@ikoz said in Virtualisation?:
