I am not very familiar with this forum so I hope the post is appropriate. Apologies if not.I have an old Lenovo tablet with the above features. But on "preparations" is mentioned that kernel 3.15 or above is required.
Is there any hope?

You don't need a specific set of features. You'll need
- the exact correct model of tablet and
- the exact right stock ROM installed.

requires a device with a Linux kernel version greater than or equal to 3.15.

@Persinto Wait, that's for porting (= creating installation files for a so far unsupported device), not for installing. Is porting what you are wishing to do? It's not clear to me because you haven't mentioned porting at all.
