Halium stuck at initrd for samsung herolte

Hello everyone!
I am trying to install ubuntu touch on my samsung herolte device.
I used the default manfest over here:
https://github.com/Halium/halium-devices/blob/halium-7.1/manifests/samsung_herolte.xml#L1I applied the correct patches to the defconfig using script included in the halium repo.
It all seemed to build correctly and i flashed the halium-boot image using heimdall
and i installed the rootfs and systemimage with the halium-install script.however it seems to get stuck at initrd and when i connect there is no diagnosis.log
Any help is greatly appreciated
