        If there are any that are not BQ4.5 and Nexus 5 we'd be interested in one for the Instagram account.

          @UBportsNews Hello!
          I'd love to contribute to Ubuntu touch, but I don't have a compatible device. I do Qt and QML. Any one device would be very helpful.

                I'd be very interested. I've been looking for a compatible device, in good condition, for a while now. I was a developer for a Linux distro called "Entropy Linux". I also have experience with custom Android roms, where I think the skills could translate and I'm currently developing a game, using unity, for Linux and Android which I would love to port to Ubuntu touch.

                      Hi @UBportsNews!
                      We would like to request one of the device. Although we won't be able to develop anything, but we hope we would be able to publish reviews and experience of the latest UBports on our website abhifx.com.

                          @UBportsNews Hi, I would like to contribute to the OS development. I haven't had a hands on with UTouch so far, so I'd be grateful to have a device from this stack.
                          By interest I am a smartphone geek and have ported hybris/SailfishOS to my previous device (YU Yureka-YU5510), I also attempted porting halium but was limited by the device's partition structures not being able to swallow the halium-boot.

                          I am a software developer based in India, working with dotnet framework at my workplace, which is somewhat unhelpful for Qt development but I've played with c++ quite often during my bachelor's course.

                            hi guys. In Italy so many friends want to quit with android and IOS and discover linux with the incredible work you're doing. I'm trying to test it through OP3 but a device like these would be great 🙂

                              I am interested in working on the ubports project. Since I am super green I am wondering if it is possible to work on it without a device? I don't want to take one away from someone who needs it more if I am just starting out contributing.

                                  @UBportsNews Hey! UK, London based Python and C++ developer here. I can't wait for Pinephone and Librem 5 as I really want to start coding/testing on Linux based device. I went fully Remote now so I can start dedicating my time to open source stuff. I am currently working on an open Bioinformatics tool, and it would be cool to get it running on a device like that too. I am very interested.

                                    Hey @UBportsNews,

                                    I'm maintainer of OrbTk https://gitlab.redox-os.org/redox-os/orbtk it's an (G)UI Toolkit written in Rust. It is a personal matter to port it to Ubuntu Touch. At the moment I have one device (OPO) for Android and Ubuntu Touch. Unfortunately have switch back and forth between UT and Android. It would be much more comfortable if I had a single device only for UT. If you think it is worth more to give a device to one how want to contribute direct to UT it's fine and I'll definitely keep going with the port.

                                      Cheers

                                          I am interested in helping. I am developing some native apps on gnome for a touch device, such as SIP Phone, Domotik Controller, Internet Radio and a Wireshark-a-like app.

                                          What I need is maybe the phone. For testing the Network Bands in Mexico and the functionality for a final user.

                                          Hope you can contact me.
