@moem The installer is super awesome but struggles with certain type of locked phones, and also unconventional partition layouts and formats.
If we would add more checks that guide the users what to do next it can be Newbie-safe, but it needs more edge-case detection and such

@flohack I'm sure you're right. But I'm less sure that the website adequately reflects that. It gave me more of an impression of being newbie-safe than I'm getting from you now.
Luckily I stumbled into the right phone, and had a very survivable first experience!

Hi everybody.
I'm happy to announce that I managed to flash my OnePlus 5t with the astonishing and lovely good working piece of Open Source Software that Ubuntu Touch actually is.
I experience the following bugs:- volume of any sound on the Device is very low
- whenever I try to hang up a call, the phone app crashes. I have to stop the program from running while the call continues, then I am able to hang up after I start the app again.
If there is anything I could do to help with more testing, please let me know.
