Some time ago we got a teaser about this:

Since things are shaping up nicely for this port, I figured I'd ask for an update on this low-priority feature. Also, I'd be glad to help testing if needed.

I just got my Nexus 6P set up with UT and have been wondering the same thing. Would love to see this working.

Yes its unfortunately blocked by a stupid UI bug it seems. You can register fingerprints, but not switch to that unlock method later on. We are still looking whats going on ^^

Any news about the Fingerprint reader.
can it be possible to get it to work for OTA 16 ?
