So, I was recently gifted an old Samsung Galaxy 2 Stratosphere by my grandfather who finally updated. Basically, it runs android 4, and so I had recently learned about Ubuntu Touch, and want to put that on there. I have not rooted it yet, and am a little worried about doing so cause its a verizon bootloader, so it may be a little hard, but once I root it, would I be able to put Ubuntu Touch on it even though it is not one of the supported devices?
        Here are the tech specs:

The fact that it only has 1gb of RAM would make this perform sluggishly with Ubuntu Touch.
You would need to port this as well, info on how to do this is at http://docs.halium.org/en/latest/porting/first-steps.html
          and
