i have a xiaomi mi a2 with oreo OS 8.0. But he have 6gb ram. When i plug with ubport, the program tell me "device not supported". I dont no if it's because he is in oreo 8.0, maybe jasmin-sprout with halium will be only with 9.0. Or if it just ubport he dont know make the difference between xiaomi mi a2 4gb ram and xiaomi mi a2 6gb ram. In resum it's possible i plug my xiaomi in ubport, i setting manualy in xiaomi mi a2 and go.

@dooblewoops Make sure it is jasmine_sprout. Make sure it is on the latest version of Android. I had to create an Xiaomi account and add the phone to and it had to have a SIM card working in it. To unlock the bootloader in Fastboot mode use "fastboot oem unlock_critical. I have posted my experience of installing onto this phone in one of the other forum posts.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7.... And more...
          I have too many devices...

You mention the Xiaomi account and the SIM card. I understand the need for it in the context of the Xiaomi-specific unlock procedure, but since you used "fastboot oem unlock_critical", I suppose that Xiaomi was not involved in the end.

I'm asking because I've not linked the phone to my Xiaomi account, and I've not even put the SIM in, as I saw little point in doing this at this stage. But reading your comment, I start to wonder whether this could bear any relationship to the problems I'm currently facing.

            Any idea?

@phandersson Please ignore my last question as I'm now able to boot the phone on the TWRP image. SIM card and Mi account are indeed unrelated.
