Directories with writing permissions
-
Hello there,
Thank you for bringing UT to the RN7, it has really been a pleasant experience so far to have this linux system working nicely in my pocket!
While tinkering in the terminal as a far-from-expert, yet curious linux enthusiast, i found via a system's warning that the /, /etc, /lib, /usr directories have world/group writing permissions. I believe they come by default (pls, correct me if I'm wrong in this point), or at least without my conscious interference, as I only installed apps form the open-store and applied a notch patch(for the time display) described in one of the previous posts. My question is: are there no privacy/security risks arising from these settings? Alternatively, would one be able to change them without breaking the system?
PS: I'm using OTA-19.
