Bluetooth turns off when WiFi is turned off

I have experienced that when using Bluetooth when WiFi is turned off the Bluetooth will also disengage despite it still is shown as On in the control bar.
Has anybody the same experience?

Often both of them are within the same chip, thus the same firmware, and sometimes even use the same antennas!
