Waydroid browser crashes - not able to install apps

Hello, i am new to ubuntu touch und waydroid. The installer for waydroid works and i have the standard lineage apps installed but non of them works. They all just crash. I wanted to install fdroid, but since the android browser crashes i can't download or install the app. Is there a way to debug this or to contact the waydroid maintainer, since this problem is apparently not supposed to happen with the xiaomi mi a2.
