Couple of Questions on the 2 / 2XL

Got a couple of questions here. I don't want to necro any old threads so here we go:
Offline charging: I saw a post from Flohack that it works but in my testing (on the RC track / OTA-23) and offline charging is borked.
Battery drain: I know there is a problem with some parts of the device not sleeping as battery drain is horrendous on this device. My battery is old but it still doesn't drain this horrible on Android, around 10-15% an hour. I was wondering if any progress has been made on this?
Otherwise UB Touch works like a dream on this device!

I am trying to find the culprit wakelock, currently playing with WiFi settings so that the device would sleep more.
For offline charging: Let me try whats my state.

@flohack Thanks for responding. Not sure why offline charging isn't working on mine. Maybe a reflash will fix it.
EDIT: It seems to be working now. Not sure what happened.
