Regarding Focal on Bacon.....

So I have four OPO's with issues (usually a no SIM read) testing Focal.
After the last update, it hosed the screen scaling and made the device useless. This appears common across all devices which core developers are working on (thank you all).
Also being a development channel, it is full of Gremlins to be aware of. For such an old phone, I doubt it would be a daily driver, but it is a really good device, excellent screen and the battery is pretty straightforward to replace which is the part that fails most (second being the SIM reader)- and with a battery activation board can be "repaired" in some cases.
However I digress, and to the crux of this. Someone on the forums tried reverting to Xenial by using the installer and going back, and apparently it didn't work. I can confirm it does work as I tried it to get a device back to a usable state and it sailed through and the device is back on 16.04 stable, with all parts working.
