      Hi everyone,

I tried to install UT on my OP5T. Downgraded to stock android 10, lost TWRP, got stock bootloader. First tried to install using Ubuntu 23.04. UBports 0.10 and 0.9.7 fails to download necessary files. Moved to Win 10. Installed UBports and 32-bit libraries as admin. Everything seems to be fine, device gets recognized, reboots into bootloader and that's it. Tried with/without wiping data, tried unplugging, powering off and powering back on into bootloader. Started recovery and tried going into adb sideload, but nothing happens whatever I do.

      Any advice?

      TIA

@armchairFF Go to the folder with your ADB in it and open a terminal. Boot the device to recovery and connect the device to the PC. Then in the terminal run the command

        ADB devices

and see if the device is detected.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7.... And more...
        I have too many devices...

@armchairFF Did you upgrade to the latest Oxygen OS before installing UT? I'd also recommend using the snap version of the Installer, as I had the best of luck with that.

Spot on, thank you. I had missing drivers on my Win10 box, had to go to System Updates, then optional, then install the missing ones (OP5T was not visible in bootloader mode, no problems when android was loaded however). Once drivers were installed, UT installation went very smoothly 🙂

yes, latest official. I used (if I remember correctly) 0.1.0, 0.8.8 and 0.9.8 versions on Ubuntu 23.04 and none worked. They would start downloading files and then stop after a few seconds for no reason. Managed to do it on my Win10 box, which is kinda sad 😞
