Consider testing out the new halium 12 port with VoLTE. Need more testers to work out the bugs.

Yes, the second install went a little bit further, I got the wipe option that I have been told about which is splendid
It did some wiping and formatting, it also did some interesting things in recovery mode and that is a sign of progress too.
When booting the first time it shows the Linneage logo for a few minutes and then I will finally end up in fastboot with an intetesting reason
Yes, it actually use the term reason:
no valid slot to bootInteresting, I tried both 24.04-1 and dito -2
If it was not for bad luck, I would have no luck at all.../r

@arubislander
I had stock android an linneage has never touched this device.
To be exact, it may not be te linneage logo because there are extra red rings inside the somewhat spectacle like logo of linneageThis new and interesting logo appeared after installing ubuntu
It showed up te first time right before entering the recovery mode
Before installing ubuntu I had a dead amdroid while the recovery was initialising, now i have the modified linneage logo with extra red rings instead
Even if it looks nice I am as clueless as ever on where to procede next

Well, there is something new going on here.
After flashing the boot.img I was usually stuck watchin the Google logo until runnimg out of batteryAs I successfully(?) installed everything (apparently with erroneous config, but acording to the install program with all bits transfered and placed wherever they where supposed to go) I did that while watching a recovery screen that did not look like the one I had after installing stock android 9 from Googles repository. Then after rebooting I got stuck in fastboot. I can no longer reach recovery.
Hence this actually is an umprovement. Earlier i could only install boot.img before the recovery broke. Now I can install everything before everything but fastboot and power off breaks./r

Finally some real luck!
Waited 10 minutes extra after the message telling me to enter recovery appeared before going manually to recovery.
And yes those Linneage OS looking logos both while booting into recovery and while booting into the operating system. As long as everything is working and all graphics is serious and decent, I am all in. I p ly reported because someone more than me could get confused.
Have fun and keep up with the good work.
Thanks for all help and suggestions./r
