@freddo
I see that files on system-image.ubports.com are stored with digital signatures, so, the situation is better here, but still requires implementing mechanism of choosing mirrors in installer software. I'll take a look at that soon. Thanks

maybe the MIUI version I flashed might have impacted Waydroid's reliability or other things?
Yes — this can significantly affect UT.
The MIUI image version to use is specified in the installation guide under "2. Check the correct version of MIUI", and it looks like you used the correct one.
I can't explain the unusual bugs you've reported.
Did you remount the system as read-write and make any changes?
Did you use apt (update/upgrade/install)?
I'm fine with starting a new discussion thread.

@Rondarius
Thank you !!! I got it up and running!
Sorry, I just now saw your post. Good to hear you are up and running!
@stan Yes and no, I've set correctly the DNS for Wi-Fi networks, but can't edit the settings for cellular data.
For wireless you can find the commands I've used above.
Maybe it could be part of the settings app in the future.
@Lakotaubp This was helpful for me on that ubports post "android tools takes up too much space." After doing some digging around I found this which addresses exactly my problem. My apt seems to be working now.
@adevhasnoname You probably could do it with an extension to repowerd, to write a new plugin that will wakeup the scren or shut it down. repowerd is the main arbiter when it comes to power-related events.
@Giiba
Grateful. The only directory where I have not checked. Documents do not work either.
I had to install nginx, virtual hosts and run through localhost)))
@kristatos said in MMS situation:
Some days or weeks later there is an incoming SMS that tells me, that there's an unread MMS and a link where I can watch at it.
Got this once on my MX4 since updated on UBP OTA-11 stable.
Weird because on canonical OTA15, MMS worked like a charm.
@Keneda To be honest i don't really know what the problem was. I followed every step on how to install ubports to OPO and by doing that i bricked it because the program stopped seing my device in fastboot and all that happened in Win 10.
Anyway after all that process i did to try re-install ubports with ubuntu and not Win 10, it finally let me enter in fastboot mode and nothing more and even then i couldn't see my OPO in device manager ( something weird in my opinion cause i heard the connection sound when i plugged in the device).
And you know the rest of the story with adb/fastboot commands.
So i guess all that was a huge bug from Win 10 side.
