Please can it be made such that we can add ringtones and notifications easily. Ideally it would be good to be able to assign certain ringtones to a particular contact.
EDIT: Actually, I see now that you can set a custom ringtone... The second part of the feature request stands though!

Norbert Herter has offered to host a Matrix server for UBports users.
Would this be acceptable? And could something like ubports.chat be used?

Are you any closer to sorting out the Touchpad issue with Hammerhead, when it's attached to Slimport. As I understand it, the feature worked with Canonical's version of UT...

What is the state of the foundation foundation process?

How can we get more xenial apps in the OpenStore? Only 5 new apps since mid June, that is relatively slow progress. Developer interest seems limited despite more and more users shifting to RC and OTA-4 is around the corner. Maybe a hackathlon could help?
-
Any news on the calendar and clock apps, that keep crashing in xenial?
-
When can we expect on the Xenial porting of the essential, indispensable app uAdBlock?
Some websites for example, m.lequipe.fr are crashing with the first web browser on Ubuntu Touch 16.04 Xenial ? Is Xenial use more cash memory ? Is there something to do to avoid this with this browser ? Or when can we expect a more 'usable' update of the new browser which doesn't crash ?

Will there ever be an effort to bring a native email client as a core app to Ubuntu Touch? I mean a UBPorts core team effort. All mobile OS's I am aware of has shipped with an email client as default. Being such a vital app on a smartphone, maybe a core app would make UT a more viable alternative for people interested to switch from iOS or Android.

Mailpile might be a good candidate.

Have you tested Unity8 on 18.04 with Mir 0.32? Impressions?
Also, if familiar with the situation, would you please discuss what necessitated the "recompile and install QtMir locally" step that alan_g recommends in a recent post related to installing Unity8 on 18.04?
(Note that the "recompile and install QtMir locally" step isn't mentioned in the previous installation instructions.)
