Any news on N5 battery draining matter on idle? Has the bug looked into?

As far as I am concerned, it is not off topic, for I bought this N5 to install UT. If the problem is not taken care of, I'd have to sell it.

The question is, is there anything done to stop the battery draining in idle state in the flagship device?
Is the same answer is that nothing is done, or nothing can be done?
