            Short answer is that all supported devices will continue being supported for as long as they can be.

            That may require more people to step up in the future to help maintain those devices at a lower level though, as they will be stuck on older kernels which will need more features backported in the future, to remain supported.

              @dobey Ah, that's encouraging.

              The 'lower level maintaining' you refer to; would that still be quite technical?
