Hello everyone,
As I am impatient to have an Ubuntu phone, but ported on the OnePlus device, I was wondering if there were already any news of the OP3 porting project, any details, ... ? I see the gauge still at the same point, for some time now... I hope not to be too much impatient?

I hate to say it, but it will take a while, there is work being done on it, but its currently not even at the stage where it boots and shows us unity 8.
We have 3 people working on the OP3 port but they are all volunteers and Marius is focusing on the OnePlus One, FairPhone and Nexus 5 currently, though I know he's extremely excited to work on the OnePlus 3, he just wants to get those devices fully working and on the stable branch first

It would very nice, if Marius could give an update what progress he is making (I am especially interested in the Fairphone, and a lot of Fairphone user are quite interested in the Ubuntu Port, too)...

Maybe there is something I would be able to do to help? I'll see if my small skills allow me to participate to porting projects... if not please do not hesitate to tell me if there is something I can do (I already participate with monthly donations, but it is not so big).
Thx a lot for your answer, and thx to everyone (developers...) here who help on those porting projects, which are, in my humble opinion, the first way for Ubuntu to meet success on phones and mobile devices.

When you ported the OnePlus 3 phone to Ubuntu, then it would be great to port this app too as it is very helpful for migrating data from other phone to OnePlus 3.
