        Hi all,

I am wondering if anyone knows how to enable CDMA support on Nexus 5.

        Thanks

CDMA does not work at all currently in UT unfortunately.

@dobey it is possible, but its not really worth the trouble to just get a signal, and as a result of doing so the MMS and SMS stuff will not work. I have a Nexus 5 and I use the CDMA network for my primary device, I tried to combine them and overall UT was unusable for any basic phone functions, Id reccomend getting a prepaid SIM on a GSM network, as CDMA is really starting to get phased out of the couple carriers that still use it here in the states.

Whether you think you can, or you can't, if you do not try, you will never truly know. So give it a Go.

@tigerpro Yes. And I told you how to do that. But as you know, it still doesn't fully work (OP didn't even mention which carrier they are on), and you were also working on a port and we were trying to figure how to get it working again.

In general, explaining how to get something that won't work fully and will probably get broken when an update comes along, is not helpful. The fact is that currently UT does NOT work with CDMA.

@dobey Super curious here.. the lack of support for CDMA is because of what, exactly?

@enrolado The ofono we use was changed to force GSM only to work around another issue that seems to only happen on the Meizu Pro 5, with dual SIM usage.

I've attempted to revert it and see if it can be fixed in a better way, but what I thought would work doesn't seem to solve the issue.

I am willing to re-visit trying to revert it, however as with you, my time is rather limited for that.
