Oneplus 3t cannot receive some group texts

If i create a new group on the phone and text people it works, sending and receiving but group messages that i have been part of on my old phone i do not receive. Anyone have any insight on this and if there are any fixes?

@teraskasi i think it is a general issue, look at the bug tracker i'm pretty sure you will find something

If you can create a group with the same recipiants, you should start receiving the messages. There is a trouble where if an mms arrives and a group does not exist, the message never shows up in the ui.
