BQ E 4.5 OTA and Musicplayer problem?

Hi my Dear Friends !
I got a Problem with the default Music Player, could it be that he can only play MP3 ?
I think i got a few FLAC and AWM Songs in it, and if he switches to them (or instead switches from a MP3 to any other than that) he Stops and i have to reboot my Ubuntu to get the music player working again, until it stops at those Songs again....Is there a workaround? A good Alternative for that?
Next Question, at the moment i have the BQ E4.5 with the Ubuntu 16.04 (OTA-12).
Is there a newer Version? If yes, how do i upgrade? Do i have to download the installer for it?Thanks my freinds, keep safe and healthy !

I don't know what type of files plays the Music Player, but you can convert the files to the format that is playable.
Regarding the version: if you are on stable and no OTA updates are available than you're good.
You can check that in Settings/Updates/Update settings and change to RC, dev or stable accordingly.
