        @007fred50 What is a Fairphone 3+, I only know a Fairphone 3 πŸ™‚

        And, it is not predictable when a port reaches 100%, it might be days, weeks or months. When its ready, its ready πŸ˜‰

            @libremax Oh okay... probably risky to think it has the same device image as the FP3.... So could need a port from scratch. Android is lame...

              The FP3+ just has newer camera and audio modules, the rest is equal to FP3.
              As far as I know, Android 10 is mandatory, to get these modules working.
              Therefor I think it is a matter of when Halium 10 gets ready and available.

                  @luksus Hi! I have a problem. When I try to lock the bootloader after I flash Ubuntu Touch to the phone "FP3+" It is telling me that the phone is corrupt and won't boot. But when I unlock the bootloader again, then the phone is working, why?

                  Thanks in advance
                  /Vince

                    Because our software is not signed with the vendor keys to be accepted by the bootloader. Also, if you lock the bootloader and something goes wrong you might loose all your data during unlocking. So better donΒ΄t do it πŸ˜‰

                      @Flohack Okay. Thanks for the answer. But isn't that very unsafe? I wanted a FP3 just so I could change from Android to Ubuntu to feel a little more safe. I realise now that should have bought a volla phone or librem5 phone.
                      However I'm very happy with the system besides from the oem unlock. πŸ™‚

                        @vincebuntu fear not, none of the alternative OSes can lock a bootloader. Pinephone and Librem 5 donΒ΄t even have a lockable bootloader.

                        The only risk that is has is that someone could access your data in case your phone gets lost or stolen, so better watch out πŸ™‚ - Other than that the locked bootloader has no advantage.
